The first collaboration between Cardi B and Pardison Fontaine came way back in 2018, when the pair put out ‘Backin’ It Up‘. But Pardi has been known for helping write several records for Cardi over the years.
Even though this new collaboration comes nearly 7 full years later, it’s a song they made not long after their first that it seems like they were planning to shelve. It was first teased before the pandemic. Due to a couple of lengthy snippets though, it’s something that fans have been begging the pair to release and tonight they finally do.
The new song is called ‘Toot It Up’. The collab might come as a surprise to some now, considering Cardi’s friendship with Megan Thee Stallion, who of course dated Pardi before it ended pretty badly. \
