In November 2022, Jhené Aiko and Big Sean welcomed their first child Noah to the world. Since then, she has sporadically released music since (she dropped “Calm & Patient” in March 2023, and has guested on tracks by Tyga and John Legend among others), and she returns with her first audio drop of 2024 “Sun / Son.”
Written by both Aiko and August 08 (who, sadly, passed away in 2023), the song is a love letter to her and Sean’s now-one year old child. She has also shared a piano-led version of the song, too.
