Leading global hat retailer Lids has teamed up with renowned sneaker and apparel designer John Geiger to launch the Misplaced Series, a unique collection of fitted hats inspired by select MLB teams. The series, which blends innovation, craftsmanship, and individuality, reimagines traditional team logos with layered, overlapping designs that challenge conventional branding.
The Misplaced Series features 12 styles across 9 teams, including three variations of the Pittsburgh Pirates hat and two Marlins colorways, reflecting the two cities pivotal to Geiger’s career. Other teams in the collection include the Chicago White Sox, Los Angeles Angels, New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies, St. Louis Cardinals, Tampa Bay Rays, and Texas Rangers.
To celebrate the launch, Lids and John Geiger will host a Pop-Up Experience on Saturday, April 5th, at 20 E. General Robinson, Pittsburgh—across from PNC Park. The event will feature an exclusive Red/Black Pittsburgh Pirates hat available for purchase, along with the full collection.
