New adorable Look-Up figures of Jujutsu Kaisen‘s Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto dressed in suits are now available for pre-order as part of a box set.
The Jujutsu Kaisen box set, available for pre-order on the BigBadToyStore website for US$77.99, contains the Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto figures, plus two mini cushions. The Look-Up series of figures are all designed in sitting poses looking upward, allowing them to be displayed looking up into the owner’s eyes. An articulated neck joint enables the look-up feature. The suit version of the Gojo and Geto plastic figures stands 4.33 inches tall, or about 11 cm.

Jujutsu Kaisen has become one of the most popular IPs in modern entertainment. Its anime series adaptation recently cleaned house at the 8th Crunchyroll Awards, with the fan-favorite series nabbed 11 wins in total, breaking My Hero Academia‘s record of eight wins from the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in 2018. Jujutsu Kaisen‘s biggest prizes included Anime of the Year, Best Action, and Best Director for Shota Goshozono. Signaling the brand’s entrenchment in global pop culture, hip-hop artist Megan Thee Stallion prepared for the Crunchyroll Anime Awards, where she was due to serve as a presenter, by cosplaying one of the franchise’s most popular characters, Satoru Gojo.
Crunchyroll’s Jujutsu Kaisen anime series description reads, “Yuji Itadori eats a cursed finger to save a classmate, and now Ryomen Sukuna, a powerfully evil sorcerer known as the King of Curses, lives in Itadori’s soul. Curses are supernatural terrors created from negative human emotions. This cursed energy can be used as a power source by jujutsu sorcerers and cursed spirits alike. Guided by the jujutsu sorcerers, Yuji Itadori joins Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights the curses. Mentored by his teacher, Satoru Gojo, Itadori befriends Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki, both first-year students.”

Jujutsu Kaisen Author Reticent to Copy Two Other Popular Shonen Jump Creators
Gege Akutami created the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, which the anime series adapts. Akutami recently revealed his admiration for both Bleach‘s Tite Kubo and Chainsaw Man‘s Tatsuki Fujimoto but intimated that as much as he liked their work, he would never copy them. “I consider folks like Kubo-sensei and Chainsaw Man‘s Tatsuki Fujimoto-sensei to have strong identities, and it’d be unwise for commoners like me to carelessly imitate authors of their caliber,” he said.
Akutami continued, “Since their creations are products of the instincts and talents that come with having such a strong identity, I’d only hurt myself if I tried to copy their methods. That’s why I go out of my way to avoid this pitfall. I’ve always loved reading Bleach, but I know that imitating it would be the death of me. Ultimately, I can’t copy it because it’s too unique. So whenever I hear people say that my series reminds them of Bleach, I hesitantly reply with something like, ‘Well, sure, I guess… But…'”
The Jujutsu Kaisen Satoru Goju and Suguru Geto Look-Up figures are available for pre-order and are estimated to arrive in January 2025.

Jujutsu Kaisen follows the evolution of Yuji Itadori, a boy who swallowed a cursed talisman – the finger of a demon – and became cursed himself. He enters a special school for sorcerers to learn to control his new abilities and gather the rest of the demon’s parts, so he can consume them and then be eliminated.
