Kanye West and Julia Fox briefly dated back in 2022, which is why some might be surprised to hear that the latter has now referred to herself as a gay.
On Monday (July 8), a TikTok user who goes by emgwaciedawgie shared a clip in which she says: “I love when I see a lesbian with their boyfriend. It’s like ahh you hate that man.”
Soon after said video began making the rounds online, the Uncut Gems star stitched it and added: “Hey, that was me — I was that lesbian. So sorry, boys; won’t happen again.”

In an interview with The Los Angeles Times last year, Fox said she felt as though Ye was using her to spite Kim Kardashian in the aftermath of the power couple’s divorce in 2021.
“I really understood him on a visceral level,” she stated. “I thought ultimately I’d be helping a precarious situation, but I learned very quickly that I was being weaponized. I just felt like his little puppet.”

The short-lived romance began in January 2022 and lasted less than two months.
Soon after news of the split went public, The Daily Mail reported that Fox was spotted leaving Los Angeles International Airport “in tears.” In response, the 34-year old model took to social media and set the record straight.
“Y’all would love it if I was sooooo upset!” she wrote on her Instagram Stories at the time. “The media would love to paint a picture of me a sad lonely woman crying on a plane by myself but it’s NOT TRUE!! Why not see me for what I am which is a #1 hustler. I came up y’all lol and not only that but Kanye and I are on good terms! I have love for him but I wasn’t in love w the man. Jesus Christ what do you u guys think I am 12 years old?!”
She added: “And for the record the only time I cried in 2022 was on Feb 6th on my dead BFF bday. Anyway if u want the full tea ur gonna have to buy the book when it comes out.”
