Fans were left wondering about the possible relationship between the West Coast rap star and Kendrick Lamar, prompting an investigation into his relationship with the former.
The Game posted on Instagram Live the day after the show, saying: “I just thought, Kendrick Lamar is amazing for the West Coast. Look at this guy, you can’t stand to see what’s going on.”
The Game firmly dismissed rumors by stating that he has no ill will towards Kendrick Lamar or his company, Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE). Nevertheless, he did disclose some fascinating information about the early days of TDE, revealing that he was once offered the chance to invest in the company by its founder, Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith. “Top Dawg wanted half of Top Dawg,” he said, adding that he didn’t want nothing from naught.
Speaking of his online negative self, The Game’s Instagram Live broadcast was to shake off the “rumors,” and to address “all the rumors and rumors on the web” — when he said, “These are not the rumors we’re talking about, they’re the ones we’re letting go of.” Among the messages and posts he received on different websites, “No more rumor, no more rumors, and nothing more… he says, but he says, he’s avoiding any blame.”
