Kid Cudi has offered fans a progress report on his recovery from a fall at Coachella for which he has undergone two surgeries in as many months.
The update came via X (formerly Twitter), after a fan asked the Cleveland-native how his foot was feeling.
“Its healing!,” Cudder wrote in a quote tweet. “Barely any scars from surgeries, fuckin unreal. Im Wolverine now [evil grin emoji] My surgeon did a really fantastic job. Shout out Dr. Little at Cedars-Sinai, u the one bro!! [prayer hands emoji]”
This time, however, the rapper spared fans a grewsome image to go along with the news of his healing, unlike with the last update he shared back in May.

In April, Kid Cudi’s Coachella set ended early after he decided to jump off the stage — presumably to mingle with fans — but botched his landing.
A video of the moment showed Cudi making his way to the edge of the stage and almost losing his balance, before taking the 6-foot-plus dive and crash landing on the ground.
The “Day ‘N’ Nite” hitmaker then laid on the ground in pain for several moments as security came to his aid. He was unable to continue performing and forced to cut his set short.
The 40-year-old rapper and singer ended up breaking his foot, though he learned a valuable lesson in the process.
“Um, yeah. Shit got real yesterday,” he said while lying in bed. “This is what happens when a 40-year-old man tries to prance around off stage like he’s 26, like he used to do back in the day. I learned a valuable lesson — no more prancing around and jumping off stages.”
On May 9, he took to Instagram to show off his new boot — a customized cast made to isolate his broken foot so it can heal properly. In the next slide, he showed just how many screws needed to go into his foot to set it in place: a grand total of 10.
“Got my boot!” he wrote in the caption. “The road to recovery has begun. Heres some xrays after the surgery, I wanted yall to see how real this shit was. Im a cyborg now.”
Less than two weeks later, however, Cudi was back in the hospital, where he underwent a second surgery.
The “Pursuit of Happiness” rapper took to Instagram on May 22 to share some photos post-surgery, offering two thumbs up in one and a goofy face in the second.
He captioned the post: “Just finished my 2nd surgery. It was a success. Feelin goood man!! [peace sign emoji, black heart emoji, prayer hands emoji, smiley face emoji]. Send me all ur love, I could really use it.”
