Lil Wayne apparently found himself on the Los Angeles Lakers’ bad side while attending Thursday’s game against the Washington Wizards at Crypto.com Arena.

The Grammy-winning hip-hop star wrote on X he “got treated like s–t” at the game, while speculating it may have been due to his criticism of Anthony Davis.

Wow! Got treated like shit at the Laker game just now but I figured they’d do me that sooner or later either bc of what i said abt AD or simply bc they don’t fwm which I been got that vibe from em as well so all good I get it. Fuck em. It isn’t what it isn’t. I’m used to it.

He later appeared on FS1’s Undisputed to address the situation.

“I was asked to be there. I’ve never had this happen before.”@LilTunechi addresses his tweet about “being treated like s****” at last night’s Lakers game pic.twitter.com/Udmci9CzMP

TMZ Sports also shared video of a confrontation with a Lakers security guard during the game:

Weezy, who moonlights as a panelist on Undisputed, said on the sports-talk show in November the Lakers “gotta get rid of AD” if they wanted to be a title contender.

When asked to elaborate on that take, Lil Wayne replied “because he’s AD, plain and simple.”

The other panelists tried to get Lil Wayne to open up by asking if that meant he was concerned about Davis’ durability, but he didn’t take the bait on that. He did seem to think Davis lacked consistency from game-to-game, saying the nine-time All-Star would show up in spurts “every other night.”

Lil Wayne seemed to backtrack on that sentiment last month on the show. He said the Lakers can’t trade Davis because there’s no one they can get to “replace what he can do” on the floor (starts at 15:00 mark).

Even though the vibes don’t appear to be very good between Lil Wayne and the Lakers, the team looks to be turning a corner. They have won nine of their last 12 games to move into ninth place in the Western Conference standings.
