Machine Gun Kelly Roasted For ‘Weird’ New Tattoos

Machine Gun Kelly has covered up a large portion of his upper body with a new tattoo, which was already packed almost entirely with body art, and the online community is not having it.

On Tuesday (February 20), the 33-year-old unveiled his latest ink work, and it is not at all like anything he’s ever had stamped on himself before. The pitch-black piece begins at his chest and extends all the way down to his wrist, with some portions revealing the layer underneath it.

While some fans and followers showed their support for it, the comments section of the Instagram post in which he revealed his new look is flooded with negative reactions.

“When you leave your kid unattended with the black marker,” a person wrote, while another added: “This ain’t it bud.”

One social media user held no punches and replied: “Stupidest fucking thing I’ve ever seen.”

The tattoos, which MGK says are “for spiritual purposes only,” apparently took 44 needles to pull off, according to his Instagram Story.

Just last year, the rapper-turned-rocker posted a series of photographs recapping his visit to France for the annual Hellfest.

Along with shots of him performing and standing outside his hotel room’s window, the Ohio native also shared some images of some not-so-traditional bonding with his daughter, as 13-year-old Casie Colson Baker joined her father on his European trek and even gave him a tattoo.

MGK’s Instagram post showed her working on his right arm while he looked at his phone. Given the above news, her work probably isn’t visible anymore.

The Cleveland superstar is covered in tattoos from the neck down. Most famously, he has an anarchy symbol above his belly button. A little above that, over his solar plexus, the words “LOCALS ONLY” stretch across from one rib to the other. Both of these are below his chest, meaning they weren’t affected by his new ink.

One of the most notable homages on his body is an illustration of 2-D from the virtual British band Gorillaz on his right forearm. He also has a Salvador Dali painting covering his lower back.
