On Sunday, Kendrick Lamar was announced as the headliner of the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show at The Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, LA on Sunday, February 9, 2025, airing on FOX and creative directed by pgLang. Many fans think that Weezy should have been the ultimate choice for the gig given its his hometown and the legendary rapper has been wanting to do the show for years.
Seems like Nicki thinks the same and isn’t happy that her mentor was ignored. She fired off a subliminal diss towards Jay-Z, alluding that his “hatred” for Birdman, Drake and herself influenced this decision. If you forgot, Jay-Z’s Roc Nation is the programmer for the Halftime Show.
