Although Drake has seemingly ignored Rick Ross since the two traded shots on social media a couple of weeks ago, the MMG Boss is still keeping his foot on the neck of the most popular artist in hip-hop, recently releasing the music video for, “Champagne Moments.”
When the two were going at it on social media, one of the hot topics was who has more money and the size of their massive mansions.
With that spirit in mind, let’s compare the two mansions, compare their two mansions, “The Embassy” vs “The Promised Land,” and decide once and for all who has the nicer pad.
”The Embassy”
Let’s start with Drake’s home in Bridle Path, Toronto, “The Embassy.” The massive property was completed in the spring of 2020 and is 50,000 square feet. It’s an extravagant home meant for the most popular rapper in the genre.
Infinity Pool
This feels like a must-have for any wealthy celebrity with a mansion. But Drake takes it to a new level with the massive backyard behind it and the custom purple lighting to add a good vibe to the pool.
Backyard
A nice infinity pool always needs a spacious backyard to go with it, and “The Embassy” isn’t lacking that. It’s needed for someone like Drake, who is seemingly always hosting guests and throwing parties.
Jersey hallway
Drake is a known sports fan. So it makes sense that the man has an entire hallway dedicated to all of his sports heroes. Just in this image, we can see jerseys from LeBron James, Dennis Rodman, and Deion Sanders. Pretty good jerseys to have.
Basketball court
This is normally reserved for NBA players, but I guess Drake doesn’t care. He has an NBA-sized basketball court that is fit for anyone associated with the 6 God and OVO.
Staircase
Not sure we’ve ever seen a celebrity with chandeliers like the one in Drake’s home. It’s a cool thing to see as you walk up the stairs of his massive home.
Great room
This shot doesn’t do the entire room justice, but it shows off this nearly half-million-dollar Bösendorfer piano. Fitting for one of the biggest artists in the world.
Kitchen
You know Drake is rich when his kitchen barely even looks like a kitchen. It perfectly fits the marble looks that he’s kept throughout his home.
”The Promised Land”
Let us move on to Rick Ross’ huge mansion outside of Atlanta, Ga., “The Promised Land.” Once owned by heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield, the home is 45,000 square feet and has 109 rooms, 12 bedrooms, and 21 bathrooms. Does it stand up to Drake’s pad?
Driveway
The front of this home almost puts the White House to shame. The moment you drive in and you see the huge “R” in the middle you know it’s Rick Ross’ home.
Door
If you didn’t know it was Ross’ home when you drove in, you’ll know when you walk through this huge black and gold door.
Entryway
The entryway of this home almost looks like a museum. It’s full of cool statues and incredible marblework on the floors. Maybe the most intriguing part of this room is the staircase coming from two sides.
Garage
It’s no surprise here that Ross has a garage full of luxury cars. It’s only fitting that a boss has multiple options if he plans on going for a ride, especially someone like Ross who often raps about it in his music.
Pool
How do we feel about Ross’ pool compared to Drake’s? They’re both pretty huge and can fit as many guests as they want.
Lake
Just in case the pool wasn’t enough, Ross has an entire lake on his property just in case he wants to fish or take in the sights.
Car room?
I’m not even sure what to call this room. Ross used the headlights of his car to create a table. How is that even possible?!
