Every night it seems like fans have been waiting to see if Drake will release his diss track in response to Kendrick Lamar’s “Like That,” in which Kendrick throws some of the most pointed jabs at Drake in a long time.
Something caught my attention online earlier today. Drake takes aim at a number of celebrities, including Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross, Metro Boomin, The Weeknd, Cash, and many others, in the song “Drop And Give Me 50.” People naturally questioned if it was artificial intelligence (AI) as it is 2024. Some individuals believe it’s a little too good to be true, but others are saying it’s real. Drake’s tone and inflections are exactly replicated in the bars, and the voice only sounds a little roboticâpossibly due to the low quality of the leak.
If it’s true, Drake has already released hits like “Back To Back” and “Duppy Freestyle,” so this is exactly the kind of tune that fans knew he could produce. The song’s title appears to be a reference to the rumour that Top Dawg still receives 50% of Kendrick’s earnings even after he went independent. He also takes aim at Ross, Metro Cash, and other celebrities, highlights Dot’s Pop collaborations with Maroon 5 and Taylor Swift, and disputes that he is one of the Big 3. He also makes an intriguing reference to Kendrick’s wife by name in one of the lines. We are aware of the previous outcome.
Listen to it below and make up your own mind. Hopefully, it gets confirmed soon, whether it’s true or not.
