Rihanna covers Vogue for China ahead of new launch
The “bad girl” is ready to expand her business ventures into another country. Gracing the latest cover of Vogue China, is none other than Rihanna. Featured on the April edition, this collaboration is just in time as Rihanna plans to launch her successful makeup brand Fenty Beauty in China.
Rihanna is effortlessly building her legacy as one of the most successful musicians and business women in modern history. Despite not releasing a full length studio album in almost ten years, her influence in pop culture and entertainment is bigger than ever before. Although the 2022 single “Lift Me Up” reached platinum status, the Barbados Queen isn’t interested in making new music. Continuing to grow her multi-billion dollar business, Fenty Beauty is now estimated to be worth $2.8 billion. The unique selection of shades and products racked up more than $550 million in sales during the first year. Further adding to her eye for business, she launched the lingerie line Savage X Fenty in 2018. That business is also valued at $1 billion, earning more than $115 million yearly.
As the success for anything Fenty continues, fans all over the world have the pleasure of using Rihanna’s products. In the Vogue edition, Rihanna shares details about motherhood and her career. Earlier this month, Fenty Beauty released a commercial featuring multi-cultural models throughout. Fenty Beauty China is expected to launch April 1st, 2024.
