This weekend, in a second edition of the Blockparty, the Rotondes brings together dancers, rappers, beatboxers and other creatives to promote, and educate about, everything Hip Hop culture.
On this glorious day that feels like the first day of spring, you may still be debating on what to do with yourself? Debate no more! Rotondes offers an event that has the perfect mix of outside activities, nightlife, exhibitions and movement! Yes, it is the Blockparty — where Hip Hop culture meets Luxembourg City festival.
What is the Blockparty?
A day of concerts, exhibitions, workshops, performances, conferences, screenings and even a market — not to mention the eighth edition of the On S’en Fish dance battle. It is a day of discovery to celebrate Hip Hop culture in its various forms: graffiti, dance, beatboxing, rap and DJing.

The event is organised by Art in Motion a.s.b.l., De Läbbel a.s.b.l., HHBEL a.s.b.l., K+A Bourglinster, Knowedge a.s.b.l., and I Love Graffiti – all creative associations that promote dance and Hip Hop culture in Luxembourg.
The Blockparty starts at 1.30 pm on Saturday, 6 April.
Where? Rotondes in Luxembourg City.
Entry is free except for certain events like the Dance Battle (6 pm) and the Concerts (7 pm). You can find the entire programme as well as tickets on the Rotondes website or The Blockparty’s official website.
The association also offers free dance workshops on Sunday, 7 April. On the agenda: popping, hip hop and house styles. Registration is still open.
