YG‘s label, 4Hunnid, has entered into a new venture with BMG, effectively ending his previous deal with Epic Records.

In a statement to Billboard, the Cali native revealed that the deal was “officially official” as of Wednesday (April 3).

“BMG is making big waves in the industry right now,” YG said to the outlet. “This partnership will take my music to new heights. The BMG team understands the vision for my music and business. Excited for what’s to come and the future of my brand.”

“Our partnership with YG isn’t just about music; it’s about expressing his voice, embracing his vision, supporting his entrepreneurship, and helping amplify his next movement,” added Tim Reid, BMG SVP of repertoire & marketing, in a statement to the outlet.

YG’s previous partnership with Epic Records to exclusively release, distribute, and market new music from the Los Angeles-based independent record label was launched in 2020.

The soon to be 30 year old was previously signed to Def Jam and put out several multi-platinum hits such as “My Nigga” (featuring Jeezy and Rich Homie Quan), “Big Bank” (featuring 2 Chainz, Big Sean, and Nicki Minaj) “Who Do You Love?” and “Why You Always Hatin?” (both featuring Drake; the latter additionally featuring Kamiyah).

“Me and my team have been doing innovative, legendary stuff for years—helping keep the West Coast alive,” YG said via press release at the time. “Now, Epic comes through at the best possible time with a platform for our expansion. I’m proud of this opportunity and will make the most of it.”

Sylvia Rhone, the legendary Epic Records Chairwoman and CEO, agreed stating, “We at Epic are delighted by this joint venture with YG and his forward-thinking 4HUNNID brand. YG perfectly represents the new face of hip-hop music: versatile, creative, multifaceted, and steeped in history but versed in current trends. This marks an exciting addition to our roster and offerings.”

Meanwhile, in February, YG took a page out of Cam’ron‘s playbook and launched his male enhancement product named Cherry Bomb.

Released on Thursday (February 15), Cherry Bomb features all-natural ingredients according to the product’s official site, and will “improve the physical appearance” of a man’s member and “intensify” the sexual experience. It also promises to “boost your nighttime experience without killing your morning vibe.”

The Clermont Twins appear in an ad alongside the Compton rapper to promote the new pill.

Cherry Bomb is available now here for $23.99.
