CHENNAI: Thousands of differently abled individuals protested across Tamil Nadu, demanding that the state fulfil its promises of financial assistance.
A comprehensive aid package was announced in April 2023 for the state’s 14.12 lakh disabled individuals, but many are yet to receive the promised support.
