Tha Dogg Pound have made it clear that the chatter surrounding their split is in fact untrue, leaving no doubts regarding their status as they team up with Snoop Dogg on a new single.

On Wednesday (April 17), Tha Doggfather teamed up with fellow West Coast MCs Kurupt and Daz Dillingger on a new joint titled “Smoke Up.” The music video opens with a number of key figures in Hip Hop such as Big Boy, Xzibit, Cam’ron and more expressing disappointment at the aforementioned rumor.

The “Gin and Juice” hitmaker then addresses the hearsay and sets the record straight by succinctly stating: “Fuck what you heard.” Once the song takes off, he doubles down with the bars: “Somebody said the Dogg Pound broke up/ Shut yo bitch ass up, n-gga, now smoke up.”
